Tracks is a dance performance that, using the vocabulary of the street genre, is humorous, warm and deeply moving.
Tracks can be a song, a trail or a path. A path to get lost on and tracks to follow in the search for "the right track". But also the needle that follows the track on the vinyl record, the sounds that arise from grains of dust, creating that recognizable crunch. A reminder of the pre-digital world. Tracks wants us to remember that the future always holds opportunities to change direction, to build something different.
Yared Tilahun Cederlund and Viktor Fröjd have worked together for many years in several acclaimed works and in Tracks it is rhythm, mystery and their friendship that shines through.
