Liv Hanne Haugen er en prisvinnende dansekunstner, koreograf og utøver kjent for sin emosjonelt umiddelbare og tverrfaglige tilnærming til bevegelse. Hun er utdannet i London (Contemporary Dance School, Arts Educational Schools) og ved School for New Dance Development i Amsterdam, og har opptrådt med ledende kompanier, inkludert Wim Vandekeybus/Ultima Vez (Belgia), Stellaris DansTeater og Nordting. 

Liv Hanne skaper egne verk, både uavhengig og gjennom Haugen Produksjoner. Hun bor og arbeider fra Tromsø i Nord-Norge, og arbeidet hennes er dypt drevet av og inspirert av den sterke arktiske naturen og landskapet. I 2025 mottok hun den prestisjetunge Hedda-prisen for beste sceneopptreden for Soul’O, som vises som del av festivalporgrammet under Ravnedans 2026. 

Liv Hanne turnerer nasjonalt og internasjonalt, og bringer en rik kunstnerisk dybde, intuitiv narrativ følsomhet og en fryktløs fysikalitet som gjør henne til en sterk utøver, skaper og samarbeidspartner for moderne og tverrfaglig scenearbeid. Praksisen hennes spenner over scenearbeid, stedsspesifikk performance, stemme, skriving og undervisning, med et signaturfokus på sårbarhet, tilstedeværelse og det å synliggjøre det usynlige. 

Undervisningen hennes er basert på grunnleggende bevegelsesprinsipper, som gir hver deltaker tilgang til sin egen kreativitet og interesser. Klassene hennes er kjent for å skape både et trygt og modig rom der det utøvende og performative har en viktig plass.

Liv Hanne Haugen is an award-winning dance artist, choreographer, and performer known for her emotionally immediate, interdisciplinary approach to movement. Trained in London (Contemporary Dance School, Arts Educational Schools) and at the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam, she has performed with leading companies including Wim Vandekeybus/Ultima Vez (Belgium), Stellaris DansTeater, and Nordting, and creates work both independently and through Haugen Produksjoner. 

She lives and works from Tromsø in the northern part of Norway and her work is deeply fueled and inspired by the powerful arctic nature and landscape. In 2025 she received the prestigious Hedda Award for Best Stage Performance for Soul’O, which she will also perform as part of Ravendans 2026. Liv Hanne tours nationally and internationally, and brings a rich artistic depth, intuitive narrative sensitivity, and a fearless physicality that make her a powerful performer, creator and collaborator for contemporary and cross-disciplinary stage-work. Her practice spans stage works, site-specific performance, voice, writing, and teaching, with a signature focus on vulnerability, presence, and making the unseen visible. 

Her teaching is based on fundamental movement principles, allowing each student to access their own creativity and desires. Her classes are known for creating both a safe and courageous space where performance practice is an important part.

Glitch Choir 
I denne workshopen utforsker hvordan kollektiv stemme og dissonans kan åpne nye måter å være sammen på, og skape rom for det uhørte. Med utgangspunkt i praksiser fra forestillingen utforsker deltakerne forstyrrelse og dissonans som kreative verktøy for kropp og stemme. Workshopen starter med en oppvarming som aktiverer kropp og stemme, før den går inn i kjernen: dissonant sang og lamentosangen. Gjennom praksiser som overtonesang, jodling, polyfonisk dissonans og munnen som et resonansrom, blir stemmen tilnærmet som et fysisk, romlig og kollektivt fenomen. Hvordan beveger stemmen kroppen, og hvordan former kroppen stemmen? Hvordan påvirker skift mellom harmoni og dissonans rommet vi deler? 

Biografi: Deva Schubert er en Berlin-basert koreograf og danser hvis arbeid fokuserer på utforskning av stemmen. Hun kombinerer dans, installasjon og digitale medier. Verkene hennes har blitt presentert ved anerkjente institusjoner, inkludert Haus der Kunst München, Kunsthalle Zürich, Sophiensäle Berlin og Transart Festival i Bolzano. Verket hennes, Glitch Choir, ble tildelt ImPulsTanz Young Choreographers' Award 2024 og fortsetter å turnere på arenaer og festivaler internasjonalt. I 2025 presenterte hun sin første separatutstilling, Silent Spills, på Kunstraum Niederösterreich i Wien. Med Glitch Choir begynte hun å dele sin praksis i forskjellige kontekster, blant annet på ImPulsTanz, Antistatic Festival i Sofia og Gøteborg.

Glitch Choir – workshop

This workshop explores, how collective voice and dissonance can open new ways of being together and make space for the unheard. Drawing on the performance practice of Glitch Choir, participants explore disruption and dissonance as creative tools for body and voice.

The workshop begins with a warm-up activating body and voice, before settling into its core: dissonant singing and the lamento song. Through practices such as overtone singing, yodeling, polyphonic dissonance, and the mouth as a resonance space, voice is approached as a physical, spatial, and collective phenomenon. How does the voice move the body, and how does the body shape the voice? How do shifts between harmony and dissonance affect the space we share?

Bio: Deva Schubert is a Berlin-based choreographer and dancer whose work centers on the exploration of the voice, combining dance, installation, and digital media. Her pieces have been presented at renowned institutions including Haus der Kunst Munich, Kunsthalle Zürich, Sophiensäle Berlin, and the Transart Festival in Bolzano. Her work Glitch Choir was awarded the ImPulsTanz Young Choreographers' Award 2024 and continues to tour at venues and festivals internationally. In 2025, she presented her first solo exhibition, Silent Spills, at Kunstraum Niederösterreich in Vienna.

With Glitch Choir, she began sharing her practice in different contexts, at ImPulsTanz, the Antistatic Festival in Sofia, Gothenburg amongst others. She explores the voice as a physical, spatial, and collective phenomenon, and investigating how dissonance and collective singing can open new ways of being together.

Jeg vil dele min praksis, som er forankret i housedans og andre streetdance-teknikker. Arbeidet mitt fokuserer på vekt og “grounding”, og vi fokuserer på å hente energi fra gulvet. Sammen vil vi utforske både personlig og kollektiv swing og groove. I min egen praksis er jeg interessert i å undersøke danserens vilje, lyst og intensjon - og musikkens innflytelse på dansen.

Klassen er åpen for alle, både dansere og alle andre som er interessert i å bevege seg.

Jens Jeffry Trinidad er en filippinsk-norsk utøvende og kreativ dansekunstner med bakgrunn fra X-Ray ungdomskulturhus i Oslo, hvor han startet med hiphop på slutten av 90-tallet, som medlem av crewet Cre-8 (tidligere Dancing Youth). Han er forankret i street- og club og har frilanset innen scenekunst, TV og undervisning siden 2006.

Han har jobbet med koreografer som Hooman Sharifi/Impure Company, Elle Sofe Sara, Manuel Pelmus, Panta Rei Danseteater, Rosalind Goldberg, Camilla Tellefsen, Chriz Nypan, Anne Golberg Stavn, Harald Beharie, Viktor Fröjd, Ingeleiv Berstad og Pernille Holden.

Hans nylige egenproduserte soloverk, SHOUT, og andre originale verk gjenspeiler tydelig kunstnerens kollektive bakgrunn, samtidig som de motstår sjangerbaserte konvensjoner. Verkene hans bærer med seg en iboende aktivisme som stiller spørsmål ved hva som verdsettes, av hvem og hvor; hvilke kropper, bevegelser, lyder, praksiser, kulturer og opplevelser?

Trinidad var også involvert i etableringen av MUD-Session Oslo (et konsept fra MAWU, NY) i 2015, og streetdance-pensumet ved Edvard Munch videregående skole i 2014.

Jens mottok Statens kunstnerstipend fra 2015 til 2017, og senere fra 2021 til 2024. Trinidad er også ansatt i Skuespiller - og danseralliansen.

I will share my practice rooted in house dance and other street dance techniques. My work focuses on weight and grounding, drawing energy from the floor. Together, we will explore both personal and collective swing and groove. In my own practice, I am interested in investigating the dancer’s will, lust, intention, and the influence of music on the dance.

The class is open for all. Both dancers and others that appreciate to move. 

Jens Jeffry Trinidad is a Filipino-Norwegian performing and creative dance artist with a background from X-Ray Youth Culture House in Oslo, where he started with hip-hop in the late 90s, member of the crew Cre-8 (formerly Dancing Youth). He is rooted in street and club dance and has been freelancing in performing arts, TV, and teaching since 2006.

He has worked with choreographers such as Hooman Sharifi/Impure Company, Elle Sofe Sara, Manuel Pelmus, Panta Rei Dance Theatre, Rosalind Goldberg, Camilla Tellefsen, Chriz Nypan, Anne Golberg Stavn, Harald Beharie, Viktor Fröjd, Ingeleiv Berstad, and Pernille Holden.

His recent self-produced solo work, SHOUT, and other original works clearly reflect the artist's collective background in street dance and club culture, while also resisting genre-based conventions. His works carry an inherent activism that questions what is valued, by whom and where; which bodies, movements, sounds, practices, cultures, and experiences? 

Trinidad was also involved in establishing MUD-Session Oslo (a concept by MAWU, NY) in 2015, and the street dance curriculum at Edvard Munch Secondary School in 2014.

Jens received the State Artist Grant from 2015 to 2017, and later from 2021 to 2024. Trinidad is also employed by Skuespiller - og danseralliansen. Jens Jeffry Trinidad received the  Rolf Gammeleng’s award 2024 - for meritorious efforts in stage performances.

I denne workshopen vil vi utforske hvordan vi kan skape kollektive bilder gjennom skiftende fysiske tilstander.

Vi kommer til å jobbe med prinsipper fra forestillingen Tragedy av Louis Schou-Hansen, hvor vi jobber med varighet, skulpturelle komposisjoner og overganger som visker ut overgangen mellom stillhet og bevegelse. Bilder dukker opp, oppløses og omkonfigureres over tid.

Ved å jobbe i grupper, vil vi skape dramatiske og fantastiske scener som utfolder seg gjennom langsom transformasjon, hvor oppmerksomhet, timing og subtil endring blir koreografiske verktøy.

I kontrast, åpner økten seg også inn i mer tempofylt og dynamisk materiale, som aktiverer rytme, intensitet og fysisk drivkraft.

Biografi: Thjerza Balaj (f. 1995) kommer fra Kristiansand. Hun er danser og koreograf bosatt og i København, Danmark. Umiddelbarhet og intimitet er viktige elementer i arbeidet hennes. Hennes koreografiske praksis omhandler det kvinnelige blikket, maktdynamikk og det uhyggelige. Å leke med skiftende intensiteter er en konsekvent tilnærming i hennes tilsynelatende hardkjerne, men flyktige praksis. Thjerza er medvirkende i Tragedy av Louis Schou-Hansen, som blir presentert på festivalen.

In this workshop we will explore collective image-making through shifting physical states.

Drawing on principles from the performance Tragedy by Louis Schou-Hansen, we will work with durational scores, sculptural compositions, and transitions that blur the line between stillness and movement. Images emerge, dissolve, and reconfigure over time.

Working in groups, we will create dramatic and fantastical scenes that unfold through slow transformation, where attention, timing, and subtle change become choreographic tools.

In contrast, the session also opens into more high-paced and dynamic material, activating rhythm, intensity, and physical drive.

Bio: Thjerza Balaj (b. 1995)from Kristiansand, is a dancer and choreographer residing and working in Copenhagen, Denmark. Immediacy and intimacy are important elements in her work.

Her choreographic practice deals with the female gaze, power dynamics, and the uncanny. Playing with shifting intensities is a consistent approach in her seemingly hard-core yet ephemeral practice. She is a performer in Tragedy by Louis Schou-Hansen, which will be presented at the festival.
