Suitable for: Youths and adults

A collective anti-educational project about empowerment and free spaces where both identity and performance are up for debate.

In a scented room, wrapped in pink and softened by soothing music, we are invited into a mild and strong performance that lovingly challenges norms and gender stereotypical limits. A poetical text, choreography, makeup, “poses” and catwalk-like sequences un- folds a drag-like-show with great integrity.

With references that extends from Miley Cyrus to Leigh Bowery, from conversations about radical softness to gender bending Dansstationens Touring Company and choreographer Martin Forsberg work with identity and performativity, together with dancers and performance artists Casper-Malte Augusta and Snorre Jeppe Hansen. The dramaturgical eye belongs to the author, debater and performance artist Alex Alvina Chamberland. Music and sound by Tami T.

“Kiss your friends faces more. Destroy the belief that intimacy must be reserved for monogamous relationships. Be more loving. Embrace platonic intimacy. Embrace vulnerability. Use emotionality as a radical tactic against a society which teaches you that emotions are a sign of weakness” - Lora Mathis
