Blonde hår er en solo som utforsker forskjellene mellom samfunnets syn på femininitet og maskulinitet, og personlig tilknytning til de to kvalitetene. Med elementer fra flamenco og improvisasjon, navigerer soloen seg gjennom lidenskap, sårbarhet og glede. Hvem definerer styrke og svakhet, det feminine og maskuline? Med følelsene på utsiden leter “Blonde hår” seg frem til et kompromissløst personlig uttrykk.

Andrea Maaseide er nylig utdannet fra Universitetet i Stavanger og har tidligere studert ved Spinn Off forstudium i dans. Hun har gjennom utdannelsen hatt lærere som Brynjar Åbel Bandlien og Tale Dolven, og jobbet med koreografer som Lee Brummer og Carl Aquilizan. Andrea har også et utvekslingssemester fra Universidad Nacional de las Artes i Argentina, hvor hun fordypet seg i tango og flamenco. Hun er interessert i ulike bevegelsespraksiser og deres kulturelle betydning og historie. “Blonde hår” er hennes første prosjekt som profesjonell danser.

Lokale Arbeidsvisninger
Under Ravnedans deler tre lokale kunstnere av sine arbeidsprosesser. Dette er en mulighet for kunstnerne å teste ideer, å arbeide foran et publikum, og å åpne opp for tilbakemeldinger og refleksjoner rundt arbeidet. 

Hver visning avsluttes med en samtale med publikum, moderert av koreograf Louis Schou-Hansen, hvor kunstnerne har mulighet til å stille spørsmål til publikum som kan ta dem videre i sin kunstneriske prosess. 

Velkommen til et innblikk i hva som rører seg i Kristiansands scenekunstfelt, og til uhøytidelige samtaler om skapende arbeid.

    About the work
    Blonde hår is a solo performance that explores the differences between society’s perceptions of femininity and masculinity, and a personal connection to these two qualities. Drawing on elements of flamenco and improvisation, the work navigates passion, vulnerability, and joy. Who defines strength and weakness, the feminine and the masculine? With emotions worn openly, Blonde Hair searches for an uncompromisingly personal form of expression.

    About Andrea Maaseide
    Andrea Maaseide recently graduated from the University of Stavanger and previously studied at the Spinn Off preparatory dance programme. During her education, she worked with teachers such as Brynjar Åbel Bandlien and Tale Dolven, and collaborated with choreographers including Lee Brummer and Carl Aquilizan. She also completed an exchange semester at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Argentina, where she focused on tango and flamenco. Andrea is interested in diverse movement practices and their cultural significance and histories. Blonde Hair is her first project as a professional dancer.

  • During Ravnedans, three local artists share insights into their creative processes. This is an opportunity for the artists to test ideas, work in front of an audience, and open their practice to feedback and reflection.

    Each presentation concludes with a conversation with the audience, moderated by choreographer Louis Schou-Hansen, where the artists have the opportunity to ask questions that may help move their artistic process forward.
